A few weeks ago my friend Alexis posted the cutest picture ever from this nursery and I had to go after that. I've been to two other nurseries here in Nashville before but when I saw this one, I knew it was going to be the perfect place to share on my blog! This is the Hewitt Garden & Design Center in Franklin, TN. Located about 30 minutes from Downtown Nashville, it is the perfect one stop shop for all your interior greenery to give your apartment a more "boho" and colorful place. It's the biggest nursery I've been to since moving here, it's gigantic.

I know a lot of places these days mark up the price of a cactus because they are so popular but I've found that this place was the cheapest of all the nurseries in Nashville. Back when Cody was shopping for a cactus for my birthday present, he went on the hunt for a large cactus in Cincinnati. He found one (obviously didn't buy it) for $500 in Cincinnati, this place has large cacti for $200!!!! Insane. If I didn't have a little dog running around all over the place, I would've caved and bought the bigger ones! Basically what I'm saying is you have to go.

It was difficult deciding which cactus I wanted to bring home with me because I was limiting myself to only one since I have 4 already... oops. I ended up getting this Euphorbia canariensis, which I read online is technically not even a cactus. Not sure if this is true but anyway, it looks like one enough if it's not. I have two prickly pears at home but they sell those here too. There are so many different types awaiting for you at Hewitt!

Now moving on to the outfit, you might actually recognize this dress because I've kinda-sorta wrote an entire blog post already praising this Free People dress in the summer. It's the perfect dress year round though and it's available in so many different colors, right now I want the forest green for fall! I accidentally forgot to switch from my sneakers to my boots that I had packed for this outfit until about halfway through the shoot. I guess I just got too excited about the location, that I forgot to switch them! I'm wearing the dress with an older pair of snake boots from Free People (similar here). All you have to do is toss a cardigan or jacket over this look and you're ready for the fall weather, it's such a great transitional look.

Have I sold you on this dress yet? If not then I might have to continue to style it, probably more fall and winter appropriate in the months ahead. Regardless this is my must have item by Free People. Buy the dress here! What color are you lusting over? Let me know in the comments!

I need to go back to the nursery to pick up a plant for my outdoor balcony. I was a little overwhelmed (and overheated LOL) on Saturday when I visited so I completely forgot to pick one up so if you have any recommendations, I'd love to hear them. And once again, thank you Cody for taking these pictures. It was my favorite shoot to date!
