I feel like often times in blog, we all focus too much on putting amazing content out on our blogs that we lose our voices and just become a picture on a blog. Well kids, not today. Today I wanted to bring everything back down to reality and reveal some secrets about me that not many people know. I like reading this kind of stuff, it really allows me to see the blogger for more than just amazing pictures and content... but don't worry, I also give you outfit details too!

  1. I only take baths (except when I'm traveling then I'm probably taking a shower.) My grandma is the same way. Taking a bath is one of my favorite parts of the day, it's the time where I can just sit back and chill, probably listen to a podcast. I love it and no matter how hard I try to be a shower gal, I'm not.
  2. I love French fries more than most people do... which says a lot. My favorite type of French fry are probably crinkle fries or curly fries. My favorite fast food fry is McDonalds and I have a (not so secret) secret love affair with Shake Shack cheese fries.
  3. When I was younger I wanted a guy to propose to me someday with a Chanel bag and an engagement ring because I never thought I would be successful enough to get one myself. I have 2.
  4. When I was younger I was obsessed with musicals but the older I get, the more I can't stand them.
  5. I've always had this weird obsession with stuff from the 70's so I am thriving with the 70's trend. Growing up my parents bought me movies from the 70's like Xanadu, disco balls and beaded curtains... I think I liked it because everything was sparkly and boujie. When I got my first curling iron, I watched hours upon hours on how to get Farrah Fawcett curls but I never realized it wouldn't work for me because I simply didn't have the right haircut.
  6. My favorite movie is Pearl Harbor. I love war movies but this one in particular because it's a chick flick, which brings me to...
  7. I love history. I was the kid that would go to the library at least twice a week in the summertime to get nonfiction history books.
  8. Too much melted cheese (like in a cheese stick or on pizza) makes me gag and because of this, I've never even tried a cheese stick.
  9. One of my biggest fears in life is getting in a car accident.
  10. In 8th grade I was on my middle school's speech team and randomly one day my "coach" decided to put me in Extemp only to discover that I was really good at it. You are given like 45 minutes to put together a 5 minute speech about a current event you are randomly assigned. I guess I've always been good at BSing because I made it to the State semi-finals. Nerd life.

So there you have it, 10 random facts that not many people know about me. And for those of you who don't really care about that, sorry. Here are the outfit details...

This dress is a suede dress from Free People, I love it! It runs a little small so I am glad I sized up to a size 6 when I'm normally a size 4. If you want the look of a suede dress, but don't want to pay the price, I found a cute alternative at Forever 21! I added this older For Love & Lemons lace top underneath it to give this outfit a 70's vibe because of the bell sleeves. I found an almost exact dupe for this blouse at Forever 21 for under $25!!!

My favorite black booties complimented this dress perfectly because they are suede too. I swear by these booties, I have them in brown too and I recommend everyone to get them. They are so comfortable. I use to wear these to work at Free People whenever I'd have 8 hour shifts and they never once bothered me.

These amazing pictures were shot by the awesome Brandon! Check out his site here and his IG here!
