This dress really grew on me since it arrived on my doorstep. I ordered it originally for a blogger event I hosted with Hey Wanderer and when I tried it on, I was indifferent about it. I felt like it didn't fit me well but since I had nothing else to wear, I wore it to the event and boy oh boy, did I get a lot of compliments on this dress! Its a showstopper. By the end of the night my opinion changed and ever since then I want to wear it as much as possible.

This weekend Cody & I went to Chattanooga for a little getaway and I found the perfect place to snap pictures for the blog while I was there!

This bridge is the pedestrian bridge in Chattanooga and the colors of the bridge complimented this fall dress perfectly. We went to the bridge at like 9 am and it wasn't super busy or sunny so we managed to get the most perfect pictures! Cody did an amazing job behind the camera yet again.

The first time I wore this dress, I paired it with my traditional brown Lack of Colors hat, I knew I wanted to switch things up through for the blog post. I wore the amazing Free People dress (available in 3 different colors) with this velvet headband that I bought for under $10 on ASOS. In case you haven't picked up on this, I'm super into my headbands ever since Bonnaroo. To complete the look, I wore my trusty Free People booties in a brown suede to keep the attention on the dress!

I got a lot of questions on Instagram about how the sizing was for this dress so I wanted to answer all your questions in this post. Normally I can be a small or medium in Free People dresses, I usually order medium for length since most Free People stuff runs on the shorter side, but since reading the reviews, I decided to get a small in this dress. I honestly might have been better off in an XS because it's cut very wide.

That's all for today folks! Let me know in the comments below what you're lusting over this fall? I think the dress should be on everyone's wishlist.
