I can't believe the only thing that stands between today and Christmas is the weekend. It's insane how fast the Christmas season has flown by yet again. I'm not ready for it to go! I love Christmas too much.

I wanted to make sure I could get one more blog post up before Christmas talking about something festive and cheerful... so I figured I'd share an outfit idea for those casual Christmas Day gals!

It's cool to hear how families do Christmas differently, some people stay in their PJ's all day and some people dress to the 10's. My family is right in the middle which made me want to share this outfit for the people who's family does Christmas a little casually like me, wear it Christmas morning or all day!

I love this set because you can dress it up or down! Obviously here it looks more like PJ's than an actual set you can wear out in public, but the way I styled it in my NYC blogpost shows the versatility in it.

I scored this duster at my local Free People store for $150 as opposed to the $250 price tag online. If you want to call your local store to see if they marked it down in store, call and they can probably ship it to you. I miss working at Free People and knowing when all the good stuff went on sale (and the awesome discount wasn't bad either.)

I couldn't not feature my Christmas tree in my bedroom on the blog this season, it's just too pretty! I kinda put it together last minute so the garland was half-assed but next year I am going to whole-ass my Christmas tree.

Achieving the perfect, bohemian Christmas tree look is super easy, especially with Target hopping on the trendy bandwagon and stores like West Elm and Anthropologie discounting their decorations all the time.

As always the biggest tip I can give you guys is to layer textures on your tree. I have metal balls, tassels, fuzzy ornaments, gold ornaments, big ornaments, small ones too. However because my tree is a little spacey (on purpose) I decided to go with fairy lights as opposed to traditional Christmas lights and I think the rose gold of the fairy lights, add even more to the look when you're up close in the daytime. If you can't find the perfect tree skirt, use a blanket! That's what I did with this Anthropologie blanket.

By the way, this set I'm wearing in the pictures is from Free People.

merry Christmas everyone, hope you have a safe holiday!

  2. This is a gorgeous place, and I won't soon forget it. Attended event space San Francisco here sponsored by the company. The reception hour was held in one of the rooms next to the hall. I loved their buttery mashed sweet potato.
