New Years Eve...

How many basic betches do you think will have their IG captions a line from Taylor Swift's latest hit "New Years Day"? I'm thinking a lot...

Anyway, New Years Eve is one of my favorite holidays simply because it's perfectly acceptable, at least at the parties I've been to since freshman year of college, to drink all of the champagne... all of it. Any holiday that celebrates by doing that is a great holiday in my book. Pour yourself a glass of champagne and let's get into this outfit post for NYE!

I've compiled a bunch of outfit options for you guys from cheap dresses to treat-yo-self dresses, I've got you covered. It took everything in me to not order this short wrap dress from Missguided, it's so trendy and perfect, especially for the price of UNDER $50!!! And this dress on Free People sales section, 40% off sale price!

However I must say I am biased to the Show Me Your Mumu jumpsuit because I have the long sleeve version of this jumpsuit from last year and I've worn it multiple times. I am a big fan of the black jumpsuit as opposed to a little black dress because then I don't have to self tan my legs in the winter... #relatable. I actually wore that jumpsuit last NYE!!! Ugh, memories. 2017 was fabulous.

Now on to my outfit idea...

This wrap dress from Pretty Little Thing is everyTHING. See what I did there? Puns.

I scored this dress for $40 on ASOS but it sold out pretty quick unfortunately... (but as of right now they have one or two sizes left.) However I know there is an amazing dupe by Free People that I actually prefer and had I seen that it was in the sale section now (with an additional 40% off), I probably would've spent a little more to get that dress instead because it's a show stopper.

I wanted to spice up this outfit with a little more velvet so I added my Free People duster jacket that I got a few weeks ago. I think the velvet on velvet is so chic.

These heels are so wonderful because the block heel make them significantly more comfortable than wearing a stiletto and they are under $100. Score.

What are you big New Years Eve plans?

As of right now, Cody and I don't have any plans... LOL. Last year kinda left a bad taste in my mouth because we went to a big party at a brewery where a lady shut a steel door on my toe... didn't end well. Ended up in urgent care the next day. Just the day in the life of Sarah Belle.

Moral of the story: wearing closed toed shoes from now on.
